How does Insparya Dual Extraction Device work?

This technique allows a wider, faster and more accurate extraction of follicular units, together with less damage to the skin tissue in the extraction area.

      It is usually simple. During the procedure, we administer local anesthesia, mainly composed of sodium chloride, which causes swelling.

      In general, this swelling is reduced until it disappears completely between 5 and 10 days after the procedure. Recovery depends on how strictly the patient follows the recommendations of the medical team, which are adapted to each clinical condition and also to the eating and drinking habits of each individual.

      Our patients seldom suffer any complications. Folliculitis, for example, is usually caused by the slight itching during cicatrization of the extraction area.

      Scratching with your nails is not advisable because it can cause follicle inflammation or infection.  Another rare complication is telogen effluvium, caused by the trauma of the treatment itself and unpredictable, but it is limited to a 4-month period when most of the hair falls out and then grows back spontaneously. Sebaceous cysts rarely appear and the surgical solution is fast and simple.

      During the 3 days following the procedure, hair cannot be washed, only hydrated with sodium chloride. The transplanted area must be uncovered, avoiding (although it is not forbidden) the use of head handkerchiefs and hats. The 3 first days, patients must not expose directly to the sun. However, postoperative care may be adapted to each individual situation.
      Transplanted hair does not fall out if the general health condition did not suffer any changes from the date of the transplant. The most frequent causes for transplanted hair to fall out are: cancer therapy, long term radiation, daily inhalation of industrial chemicals, chronic inflammatory disease, burns and scalp surgery.
